Dr. Jorge Paz Rodriguez received his medical degree from the School of Medicine at the University of Panama. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. He performed his training in Internal Medicine at the Lincoln Hospital in New York City as part of the New York Medical College Program “A”. He worked as Medical Director of the Wellmed Clinic at Greenway Park, San Antonio, Texas, and Director of the Program for Chronic Disease Control Program (Diabetes, Congestive Heart Failure, and Ischemic Heart Disease). Presently, he is the Director of the Wellmed Clinic in Panama and Senior Doctor and President of Stem Cell Institute.
Ana Lia Diez, M.D.

Dr. Diez received her medical degree from Latina University in the Republic of Panama in 2006. Before joining the Stem Cell Institute, Dr. Diez managed the Hematology Department’s Ambulatory Infusion Unit at Hospital Santo Tomás. Her expertise encompasses hemophilia, anemia and other chronic hematologic diseases. Dr. Diez also worked as medical reviewer, writer and editor at Primo Scientific Corporation.

Cindy Leu, M.D.

Dr. Cindy Leu is an experienced medical doctor who received her doctorate degree in 2005 from the School of Medicine at Universidad Latina in Panama City, Panama. During the first two years of her career, she worked as a General Practitioner in a community hospital providing inpatient care in the departments of surgery, obstetrics/gynecology, emergency medicine, internal medicine and pediatrics as well as outpatient clinics. Dr. Leu received a post-doctoral degree in orthomolecular medicine and dermocosmiatrics and maintains a clear and active medical license to practice medicine in the country of Panama.
Before joining our team of medical doctors in December of 2013, she dedicated 5 years to improving the health and well-being of the community while working at Dermocenter and WellMed Clinics providing aesthetic, wellness and integral care.
